Shyrell has over a decade of experience in childcare with an emphasis on health and nutrition. She provides support and promotes overall well-being to childcare providers in the Lowcountry Region, through the Be Well Care Well Project. Shyrell is passionate about educating and inspiring people to improve their overall health. Prior to joining Be Well Care Well, she was the Health and Nutrition Manager for Head Start/ Early Head Start. Shyrell holds a B.S and M.S degree both in Nutritional Sciences from South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC. She is also a certified CDM, CFPP, through the Association of Nutrition and Foodservices Professionals.
