Kelvina Simmons, MS
Infant/Toddler Specialist, Lowcountry
Kelvina (Kelly) Simmons a low country native has a bachelor’s degree in Family & Consumer Sciences/ Child Development from South Carolina State University. With a strong background in infant/toddler care, she has worked as a child development teacher and later transitioned to be a teacher’s assistant specializing in special education. As of July 2024, she graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a master’s degree in Child and Developmental Psychology. In 2024 she decided to make a change in careers and joined SCPITC. Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, making endless memories with her son, and the love she has for children and education. She believes that helping children become the future starts with the adults in their lives. Providing the best care so that children can reach their full potential is her goal.
