Infant/Toddler Specialist, Lowcountry Region
Latisha comes to SCPITC with over twenty-four years of experience serving children and their families in various capacities. Latisha began her career in early childhood education, advocating for children and families for Head Start/ Early Head Start Programs in Berkeley, Dorchester, Charleston Counties, and Charleston County First Steps Early Head Start Child Care Partnership. Latisha earned an EdS (Specialist Degree) in Early Childhood Development from Walden University in 2018 and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix in 2011 and has obtained a bachelor’s degree in human services from Springfield College in 2007. In October 2020, she earned an Endorsement as an Early Childhood Family Associate through the South Carolina Association for Infant Mental Health. She's a Certified Trainer and Technical Assistant Provider (TAP) with the SC Center for Child Care Career Development and is certified as a CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) Observer.
