Jacinta has over a decade of service in the education field, in capacities serving children and adults. Prior to joining SCPITC, she served 5 years as the Community Outreach Specialist for Horry County Schools Adult Education Program. She has also held positions as Parent Educator for Horry County First Steps, Education Coordinator and Toddler Teacher for East Coast Migrant Head Start Project in Florence County. She is also a Certified Trainer with the S.C. Center for Childcare Career Development. Jacinta holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in Human Services: Marriage & Family from Liberty University. Jacinta was raised in a family of teachers and administrators, so a love for education was evident at a very early age. Her favorite quote says, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth.”
