Allison Becker is our Senior Design Consultant for the state. Allison graduated from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She continued her education and graduated from Columbia International University with a Master of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She worked exclusively in the interior design field for four years before entering the world of education. She has been working in the field of early childhood since 2001. Prior to joining SCPITC, she was a public-school teacher and a technical assistant and parent educator for First Steps. As a Certified Trainer and Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) with the S.C. Center for Child Care Career Development, Allison has obtained certifications in WestEd PITC, SCIMHA, FAN, Breastfeeding Friendly, ECERS-R, Cradling Literacy, ASQ-3, and The Incredible Years Parenting Program. Allison is excited to couple her love and knowledge of interior design and early childhood to serve the state of South Carolina.
