The South Carolina Program for Infant/Toddler Care is sponsoring a select group of child care professionals to participate in an intense mentor training course in Atlanta. The goal is for the trained mentors to serve as leaders in their profession who can guide their peers in the best ways to care for children. This is the second year in a row that SCPITC has provided scholarships for child care teachers to receive this training, offered through Quality Assist. Training began March 7 and will continue through June 7. Funds for the training are provided through the S.C. Department of Social Services Division of Early Care and Education.
