My question is how are we supposed to handle soiled clothing? As an example, underwear or clothes with a BM? We have always sent clothes home to be washed…had a parent complain about this due to ruined clothes.
Thank you for your inquiry regarding soiled non-disposable items. According to the licensing regulations, 114-505F(12), soiled non-disposable items shall be kept in a sealed plastic bag after feces is disposed of through the sewage. It is a recommendation to have a center policy to notify parents of this regulation, therefore they will know how the soiled non-disposable items will be returned.
