SCPITC’s annual distance training series March 3 – April 14, 2016: New ABC Quality Standards for classrooms serving children ages birth to three-years-old in B Level Centers.
REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED.
A series of seven trainings for child care providers is being offered at a viewing site near you! The trainings will be held on Thursday nights, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm beginning March 3, 2016. Presenters will broadcast the sessions live from Charleston with multiple viewing locations and on–site facilitators available around the state.
Only Directors and Assistant Directors should plan to join us on April 14, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM for a review of the Mandatory Standards.
In 2016 the distance training series is presented at no cost to participants with funding from our partners at ABC Quality. Each of the seven workshops will be offered for DSS training credit through the SC Center for Child Care Career Development (CCCCD). Participants who attend and complete all sessions in the series are eligible for paid registration to your choice of the 2016 SCAEYC Conference, 2017 SCECA Conference, or 2017 SCAECE Conference.

March 17th: Standard VIII Guidance for Infants and Toddlers (Child Guidance)
March 24th: Standard IX Program Structure (Curriculum)
March 31st: Standard X Early Learning (Curriculum)
April 7th: Standard XI Environment (Curriculum)
April 14th: Mandatory Standards (Program Administration) For Directors & Assistant Directors only; viewing from own computer. Remote viewing sites closed. Directors and Assistant Directors please check back soon for instructions on how to connect for the April 14th class.
