Become a SC PITC Infant/Toddler Specialist

ELIGIBILITY Any person fully-certified in the four core PITC modules may apply to become an Infant/Toddler Specialist for South Carolina’s PITC Network. SC PITC Infant-Toddler Specialists must also be certified trainers with the Center for Child Care Career Development. Applicants are expected to have experience in the day to day care of young children in group care settings.

REQUIREMENTS
Infant/Toddler Specialists must commit to delivering at least one complete training section (approximately 70 hours of service). Infant/Toddler Specialists will work with the contact person from the center or family child care group to develop a training schedule that meets everyone's needs.

COMPENSATION Qualified applicants will receive an hourly reimbursement for training and technical assistance conducted at assigned programs and mileage reimbursement at the state rate.
